Job Summary: As the bar manager you will be responsible for the overall management and performance, including staff, operations, customer service, compliance, stock, sales and marketing. The role requires strong leadership, effective delegation, forward planning and ownership of the venue to ensure it operates safely, efficiently and commercially. Main Responsibilities: Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance. Provide strong leadership and maintain a visible management presence. Lead, manage and support Supervisors and the wider team. Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, attendance and workforce planning. Conduct one-to-ones, team meetings, inductions and staff training. Address performance, conduct and staffing issues appropriately. Maintain clear and professional communication with management and staff. Ensure consistently high standards of customer service. Oversee bar, hospitality, pool and snooker operations. Manage stock, ordering, wastage, pricing and product performance. Monitor sales, labour costs, cash handling and overall financial performance.
