P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a stores-person to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Receipt & dispatch of goods in the warehouse (Including some driving & FLT driving)
- Coordinate and carry out office tasks including: checking stock levels, booking in goods and shipping orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Other tasks as directed by supervisor or Manager
Person Specification
- 3 years previous experience in a warehouse, storeman, or similar role is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Valid forklift license with proven experience operating forklifts safely.
- Full UK driving license with a clean driving record (for van driving).
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and manual handling tasks throughout the day.
