Our client is a leading specialist in blasting and painting, delivering high-quality works across major industrial, infrastructure, and marine projects. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven background in blasting, painting, pricing, and project delivery. This role is ideal for someone who understands the trade, knows how to price accurately, and can confidently run multiple projects from tender through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Pricing
- Producing accurate, competitive pricing for blasting and painting packages
- Breaking down labour, materials, plant, and production rates
- Reviewing specifications, drawings, and client requirements
- Managing variations, valuations, and commercial reporting
- Manning up projects with the correct certified trades
- Coordinating supervisors, blasters, painters, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standard
- Monitoring productivity, budgets, and project profitability
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring all works meet industry standards and certification requirements
- Overseeing QA/QC processes, ITPs, and inspection documentation
- Driving high standards across safety, workmanship, and reporting
