P+S Energy are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who are currently seeking a Base and Mobilisation Support Engineer to join their team based in Bury St Edmonds on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary: You will be reporting to the Technical Manager. The ideal applicant will either have a strong technical background in subsea electronic technology or be qualified in electronics or IT discipline and demonstrate the ability to transition into a new industry. You will need to demonstrate a confident “can do” attitude in a fast-paced environment and must be a team player. You will need to be an excellent communicator and offer exceptional attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-project preparation and configuration of the company’s Survey equipment packages (Survey, IT, Electronic), to meet project specifications & deadlines.
- Responsible for Post Project Testing, Maintenance & Repair of the company’s equipment pool.
- Create Technical Fault reports and follow company equipment testing procedures in line with company ISO processes.
- Keep up to date the company Asset Tracking System in line with procedures.
- Provide clear & effective communication between the Workshop and Operation teams.
- Assisting the Technical Manager with engineering development and taking on additional responsibility to support company requirements.
