P+S Recruitment are seeking a professional, organised and reliable School Administrator to support schools on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or someone with strong organisational and communication skills looking to gain experience within an educational setting.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Provide effective administrative support to the school and wider staff team.
  • Manage general office duties, including emails, telephone calls, filing and data entry.
  • Act as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and school databases.
  • Assist with pupil admissions, attendance and student records where required.
  • Prepare letters, documents, reports and other school correspondence.
  • Support the organisation of meetings, appointments and school events.
  • Handle confidential information appropriately and maintain a high level of discretion.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, staff and external organisations in a professional manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and other school departments as required.

Person Specification

  • Previous administrative experience is desirable, ideally within a school or education setting.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
