Responsibilities
- Identification of parts from manufacturer parts systems and schematic drawings
- Sourcing of parts from OEMs and alternative suppliers
- Raising purchase order requisitions and tracking deliveries
- Booking in and out of all materials to jobs
- Planning of upcoming tasks to ensure parts are available on time
- Ensuring accuracy of parts orders
- Monitoring and return of core and old units
- Organising and returning warranty parts
- Any other duty or task that may be deemed reasonable
Person Specification
- 3 years’ previous experience in a parts procurement environment identifying engine/mechanical parts
- Strong operational involvement and willingness to get directly involved
- Demonstrates strong self-motivation and initiative
- Effective in both independent and team-oriented settings
- Proactive and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
- Strong commitment to quality standards
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Packages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure
