P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Office and Workshop Assistant to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role supporting both the office and workshop operations, ideal for someone organised, proactive, and confident using online systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with day to day office and workshop administration
  • Obtaining supplier pricing and processing purchase orders
  • Checking goods received against delivery notes
  • Helping with packing and booking parcels via FedEx and other couriers
  • Supporting stores and stock related tasks
  • Handling customer queries and taking messages professionally
  • Booking hotels and travel arrangements when required
  • General administrative support as needed

Skills & Experience

  • Previous office administration experience preferred
  • MUST hold a driving license
  • Forklift license would be advantageous
  • Sage and stores/stock control experience desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working within structured processes
  • Confident using the internet, email, and online booking systems
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support different areas of the business
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Hours

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
