Main Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to learners.
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Help maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation and learner engagement.
- Support students with their learning and development.
- Build positive and professional relationships with learners and teaching staff.
- Assist with general classroom and educational activities.
- Adapt to different age groups, subjects and educational settings.
Person Specification
- Previous experience working with children, young people or learners is desirable.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships.
- Reliable, professional and adaptable.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Confident supporting learners in a classroom environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in education, childcare, youth work or a related field are desirable....
