P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a stores-person to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock and deliveries.
  • Store and organise stock in the warehouse efficiently, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operate a forklift safely and in compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Drive company van to deliver or collect goods as required.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock control processes.
  • Support the team with general warehouse duties as required.

Person Specification / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, storeman, or similar role is preferred.
  • Valid forklift license with proven experience operating forklifts safely.
  • Full UK driving license with a clean driving record (for van driving).
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for stock management systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
  • Comfortable with standing, bending, and manual handling tasks throughout the day.

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Monday – Friday, full-time.
  • 25 days holiday per year (Jan–Dec).
