Make a Real Difference. Every Single Day.

Are you passionate about empowering young people to build independence, confidence, and a brighter future?

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team supporting young people aged 16โ€“18 (up to 25) living in semi-independent accommodation. These young people may have experienced trauma, family breakdown, exploitation, mental health challenges, or involvement with the care system โ€” and they need consistent, positive adults who truly care.

This is more than a job. Itโ€™s a chance to change lives.

About the Role

As a Support Worker in semi-independent accommodation, you will:

* Build positive, trusting relationships with young people

* Support young people to develop independent living skills (budgeting, cooking, cleaning, tenancy sustainment)

* Promote education, training, and employment opportunities

* Encourage positive routines, healthy choices, and emotional wellbeing

* Support with appointments, assessments, and multi-agency working

* Complete accurate daily logs, support plans, and risk assessments

* Use trauma-informed and person-centred approaches at all times

* Act as a positive role model, offering guidance, boundaries, and encouragement

Who Weโ€™re Looking For

You donโ€™t need to be perfect โ€” you need to be passionate, resilient, and committed.

We welcome applicants who:

* Have experience working with young people, care leavers, or vulnerable individuals (desirable but not essential)

* Are calm, patient, and confident in challenging situations

* Can work independently and as part of a supportive team

* Have strong communication and organisational skills

* Are committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare

* Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable)

* Are willing to work flexible shifts

Qualifications are welcomed but not essential โ€” we value the right attitude and will support your development.

What We Offer

* Comprehensive induction and ongoing training

* Fully funded mandatory and specialist training (trauma-informed care, safeguarding, mental health, exploitation awareness, de-escalation)

* Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation

* Supportive management and a values-led culture

* Employee wellbeing support

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All roles are subject to:

* Enhanced DBS check

* Employment references

* Right to work in the UK

Ready to Make a Difference?

If youโ€™re ready to be part of something meaningful and help young people move towards independence with confidence and dignity, we want to hear from you.
