What You'll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality, person-centred support that empowers children, young people, and adults to live safer, healthier, and more independent lives.
- Providing compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs.
- Supporting children, young people, and supported living services, respite and within the community.
- Encouraging independence by developing life skills, building confidence, promoting resilience, and supporting personal goals.
- Building positive, trusting relationships where people feel safe, respected, valued, and heard.
- Providing emotional support, reassurance, and encouragement while promoting dignity, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
- Supporting with everyday routines including education, appointments, meal preparation, budgeting, shopping and daily living activities.
- Encouraging participation in meaningful activities, hobbies, community events, education, volunteering, and social opportunities that promote wellbeing and inclusion.
- Supporting individuals through challenging situations using calm, positive, and therapeutic approaches.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns professionally while following safeguarding procedures.
- Promoting safeguarding, equality, dignity, inclusion, and the rights of every individual at all times.
