We're looking for caring, resilient, and enthusiastic Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing agency team, supporting adults across a variety of supported living environments and respite. What You'll Be Doing
- Providing compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, goals, and recovery journey.
- Supporting people in supported living services, and respite.
- Encouraging independence by developing daily living skills, promoting confidence, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
- Building positive, trusting relationships where people feel respected, valued, listened to, and empowered.
- Offering emotional support through meaningful conversations while promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
- Supporting with daily living activities including shopping, meal preparation, budgeting, attending appointments, medication prompts (where appropriate), and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Encouraging participation in community activities, education, volunteering, employment opportunities, and hobbies that promote social inclusion and recovery.
- Supporting individuals to manage anxiety, emotional distress, and challenging situations using positive, recovery-focused approaches.
- Recording observations accurately, maintaining confidential records, and reporting any concerns appropriately.
- Promoting safeguarding, mental wellbeing, dignity, equality, and the rights of every individual at all times.
- Being a calm, reassuring presence during difficult moments, helping people feel safe, supported, and hopeful for the future.
