We have opportunities for Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our Maintenance team in Wrexham on a 5‑team shift rota. The role will be at our production facility and involve the following:
- PLC, Instrumentation and Electronic drives.
- Using software to interface or diagnose faults on plant and machinery.
- Maintenance on large AC and DC motors.
- Machine and plant lock‑off procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation.
- Developing and implementing modifications to improve reliability of plant and machinery.
- Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays.
- Adherence to Health & Safety with absolute priority.
- Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- MS Office or equivalent.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or proven experience.

- Time served with experience in all aspects of electrical maintenance engineering.
- Completed a recognised, certificated industrial apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance.
- Significant experience in an industrial maintenance field.
- Self‑starter, proactive, prepared to take the initiative and work without direct supervision.
- Work well under pressure.

- Flexible attitude to overtime and shift cover.
Working Hours and Benefits
- Average working week of 36.5 hours.
