Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success
- To ensure that all HSE activities at construction site(s) are carried on in accordance with the UK applicable laws and regulations, client requirements and Prysmian HSE MS related to Health, Safety and Environment.
- To assist Project HSE Managers in maintaining/increasing HSE standardization across UK construction sites.
- To support accidents/incidents investigation and to carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans at site level.
- To conduct HSE inspections and audits on UK Sites and also UK subcontractors involved in project activities and to create the related reports, ensuring a follow-up of the outcome.
- To develop and coordinate dedicated UK safety trainings / induction and contribute to the implementation at site level of Prysmian safety behavioral initiatives, also including suppliers and subcontractors.
- To assist Project HSE Manager in developing documentation for tender activities for UK business (including TSO, Developers and IMR businesses).
- To provide HSE Support for UK cable repairs projects when Prysmian is notified by a Client.
- To ensure HSE coordination and compliance with the company policy procedures and to coordinate with local team to implement all the actions required for a proper implementation of HSE culture and methodologies.
- To develop and perform HSE training programs and to promote a safety behavioral culture within the organization and toward suppliers and subcontractors.
Key Requirements
- Proven health & safety experience and behavioral standards within Projects in the energy or construction sectors.
- Recognized professional health and safety qualification such as Degree or NEBOSH qualification at a level commensurate with the criticality of the defined key role; IOSH, techIOSH certification.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 series standard; Be qualified as lead auditor will be a plus.
- Strong leadership, team player. People management/influencing and organizational skills.
- Investigation course as nice to have (e.g. TapRoot, Kelvin Top Set, or equivalent).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 50% of the time.
- Mental Health First Aider.
