An opportunity to join the warehouse team at Prysmian Cables in Wrexham as a Materials Stores Person. You will report to the Distribution Manager, and the main purpose of this role will be to unload/load wagons of materials and scrap. You will also need good computer skills to input data into SAP and account for all stock movements. You will also be required to use the inventory control system (Kanban) to load with materials.
The successful applicant will have:
- Worked in a fast moving factory environment previously
- Ideally have some knowledge of the cables and components business but not essential
- Trained on Reach and Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck
- Have a high level of drive and energy
- Be a self-starter, with a positive attitude who is prepared to use their initiative
- Forward planning and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, team working and communication skills
- Basic keyboard skills and IT aptitude for input and access data
This role is based on Wrexham industrial estate and will be either working a day shift pattern or 2 shift pattern.
