Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Leader (Monday – Friday days) to join our team in Wrexham. You will take ownership of the performance of your own stream of machines, and will be the glue between machine performance, people performance and product quality (connecting HSE, production, maintenance, quality and planning departments) pulling the various teams together.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure health and safety in assigned stream
- Discuss safe/unsafe behaviours with employees
- Analyze machine performance and KPIs daily
- Monitor KPIs to minimize process deviations
- Summarize and escalate process performance with Production Manager
- Collaborate to improve data quality and update standards
- Address deviations and support area improvement projects
- Lead daily meetings to agree production plans and resource needs
- Investigate production issues and assign to relevant departments
- Drive continuous improvement with Operators and Pillar support
- Manage projects to reduce losses and improve KPIs
- Review quarterly data and confirm loss reduction plans
- Conduct first-level investigations on failures
- Motivate, develop, and identify team training needs
You are the right fit if you have/are:
- Ideally educated to HNC or degree level in a Technical discipline, however not essential
- Proven experience within multi-process environment within manufacturing
- Experience within Manufacturing engineering and/or supervision of operators
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, co-ordinate and direct Shift Coordinators, Team Leaders and Production Operators to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
