An opportunity to join the warehouse team at Prysmian Cables in Wrexham as a Finished Goods Operative in our Components business.
JOB ROLE
- All aspects of Warehouse work to include:
- Order picking.
- Order packing.
- Locating goods into stores.
- Stock checks.
- Stock Control.
- Liaise with Despatch Coordinator by reporting any issues.
- Ensure that H&S awareness is present at all times.
- Housekeeping within the Internal & External Areas around Despatch.
- Driving an FLT to move goods.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Computer literate.
- SAP knowledge preferable but training will be given.
- FLT Counterbalance, Reach and Order picker preferred but training will be given.
- Must have a head for Heights.
- Loading and unloading vehicles/trailers.
- Basic English and Numeracy.
THE PERSON
- Possess a high level of drive and energy, with a strong safety mindset.
- Self-starter, positive and proactive attitude, prepared to take the initiative and works well under pressure.
- Team worker with good communication skills.
- FLT experience preferable but not essential as training will be given.
This position is working Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.07pm and 8.00am to 3.00pm on a Friday (37 hours per week).
