Your Role
- You will lead the end-to-end UK payroll, compensation and benefits processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery through an outsourced model while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
- Manage multiple UK payrolls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
- Own payroll inputs, controls, reconciliations and year-end activities.
- Manage outsourced payroll providers and ensure SLA delivery.
- Partner with HR and Finance to ensure smooth process integration.
- Oversee benefits administration and support salary review cycles.
- Ensure correct payroll data, taxation and HMRC compliance.
- Act as Workday/payroll data expert, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
- Drive process improvements, controls and audit readiness.
- Act as main contact for payroll queries, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
Your Background
- Strong experience in a standalone or senior UK payroll role.
- Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, statutory payments).
- Experience managing outsourced payroll providers.
- Familiarity with HR/payroll systems (ideally Workday) and strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work independently.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
