The Prysmian Depot is a strategic location for Prysmian in terms of vessel mobilisation’s for large Cable Installation projects and logistics to support the company-owned and chartered vessels. As well as being a hub for mobilisations and logistics, the Prysmian Depot is also a strategic location to store spare system cables. As a placement student we will offer you a great learning experience and the chance to develop valuable skills before entering the graduate market.
What You Will Be Doing?
A Business Support Assistant would be part of the Depot/Installation support team. Typical tasks may include:
- Assisting the Depot Manager in the day-to-day administration and reporting;
- Answering the telephone and other methods of communication in a clear and polite manner;
- Managing commercial relationships with new and existing suppliers, involving effective and regular communication;
- Coordinating most activities related to the creation of Depot/Installation SAP Requisitions and Purchase Orders;
- Approving, processing and Goods Receipting Depot/Installation invoices;
- Liasing with other departments to address invoicing issues and queries;
- Forecasting and maintaining the hired equipment databases;
- Assisting with the calculation of the offshore personnel utilisation.
Who We Are Looking For?
An individual who has:

·Positive and enthusiastic attitude;
·Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports;
·Ability to communicate and present in a clear and logical manner;
·Ability to organise workload and to manage filing methods and management techniques;
·General computer skills are essential, with knowledge of Excel and Word;
·Ability to analyse data;
- A professional attitude to work;
- A willingness to learn and take initiative.
