Warehouse Supervisor page is loaded## Warehouse Supervisorlocations: Maidstone, AUposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-29173# Warehouse and Distribution Manager# WBT-PRYSMIAN – Altona Site## **Role Purpose**The Warehouse and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at WBT-Prysmian warehouse in Altona. This role ensures timely and accurate order fulfilment, optimises warehouse operations, and manages distribution to meet customer service levels and cost targets.## **Key Responsibilities**### **Warehouse Operations*** Manage the flow of products in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.* Continuously evaluate and optimize the warehouse layout and flow to maximize space utilization, improve material handling efficiency, and reduce operational costs.* Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.* Ensure all orders are picked, packed, cut, checked, and loaded accurately and on time.* Maintain equipment and implement preventive maintenance programs.### **Distribution Management*** Oversee outbound logistics and ensure DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time) targets are met.* Coordinate with 3PL providers and transport partners to ensure compliance with service agreements.* Monitor and optimise transport costs and delivery schedules.### **Inventory Control*** Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring accurate reconciliation.* Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems for stock control and replenishment.### **Health, Safety & Compliance*** Enforce strict adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.* Lead HSEQ initiatives and ensure compliance with WHS and **Chain of Responsibility** obligations.* Report and act on incidents, hazards, and injuries promptly.* Ensure all staff use PPE and follow safety procedures.### **Continuous Improvement & Cost Control*** Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.* Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.## **Qualifications & Skills*** Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).* Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management.* Strong leadership and team management skills.* Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and inventory management.* Excellent understanding of WHS and COR regulations.* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.*Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
