We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Design Engineer to join our Power Grids Engineering Design Team, supporting the EGL1 project. Our Engineering Design Team is responsible for the design and installation of High Voltage Cable systems for a diverse range of clients. The team forms part of our Power Grids Business, providing customers with a diverse range of services, from the supply of cable to the provision of jointing services through to full turn-key installation projects.
The successful individual will work on a large cross-country HV Cable Installation project delivering an effective, safe, cost-efficient design solution. They will liaise closely with site engineers to ensure the project is delivered within time and to budget, to the required specification and with risks mitigated.
