We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our team! You’ll report to the Industrial & Construction Commercial Manager. This key role has broad hands-on responsibility for developing and driving UK sales of Prysmian Industrial & Construction products through electrical wholesalers into the electrical market, which includes Contractors and Specifiers. You will be based from home in the North England area but will be required to travel extensively across North East, North West and North Wales.

You will be responsible for:

  • Growing business within a group of accounts.
  • Building and developing lasting and influential relationships.
  • Developing and implementing dynamic sales strategies through effective, targeted channel management.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting regular client visits to understand their needs and address concerns.
  • Analysing market trends to identify opportunities for account growth.

  • Excellent and highly persuasive interpersonal skills.
  • A high degree of numeracy.
  • A proven successful track record of key account management.
  • A team player with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Ideally educated to degree level.
  • Proven sales experience in a technical oriented environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A valid full UK driving licence.
