Prysmian Group is a world leader in the energy and telecom cables and systems industry, with around 30,000 employees across 50 countries worldwide. Every day is different and varied. You will be in charge of a wide range of different projects. Typical tasks may include:
- Design of brochures, product literature, in-house magazine, mailshots etc.
- Compiling and maintaining project and budget tracking system
- Web page design β Internet/Intranet
- Raising requisitions for payment of goods
- Promotional and merchandising ideas
- Support the planning and execution of trade shows, participate at these shows
- Competitor/Customer/Market Research and analysis
- Literature Management and Distribution
- Manning information hotline
- Spontaneous project work
- Supporting Sales/Specification team
- Support of product launches
- General clerical support to Marketing Department
As the year progresses you are given the opportunity to increase responsibility and autonomy to gain the most from your placement year.
Who We Are Looking For?
An individual who has:

- General computer skills and knowledge of Excel and Word

You will be an undergraduate ideally studying a Marketing or Business-related degree. It is essential that you can work well in a team and possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

- Flexible and responsive to change
We will expect a professional attitude to work and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Location details
This role is based in our offices near the Eastleigh town centre. The address is Prysmian Cables & Systems Limited, Chickenhall Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 6YU. There are good transport links to Eastleigh and the site is approximately 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We are able to offer free car parking next to our offices.
