The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and operational support to the Power Grids Business, contributing to the efficient delivery of supply-only orders with a high standard of customer service. This position is ideal for an organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working as part of a team, supporting processes, and developing their commercial, project and administrative skills within a structured Customer Care environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the coordination of customer orders and enquiries within the Power Grids supply-only business, ensuring all information is accurately recorded, maintained, and updated in line with company procedures from quotation through to order completion and after-sales support.
- Support the coordination of shipments from affiliates worldwide to customer project sites, including assisting with the arrangement of tooling, cranes, and related logistics to ensure deliveries are completed safely, smoothly, and in line with project plans.
- Ensure all project documentation and paperwork for supply-only projects is accurate and complete, and assist with coordinating project activities such as factory acceptance tests, site off-loading plans, customs requirements, and shipping processes.
- Support the Customer Care team by maintaining records, documentation, and order data, ensuring information is complete, up to date, and easily accessible in accordance with company procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth flow of work, contributing to the timely and efficient delivery of customer orders in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Assist with customer queries and issues by gathering relevant information, tracking actions, and escalating where appropriate to support timely and positive resolutions.
- Support the monitoring and administration of agreed KPIs and SLAs, helping to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to customer service standards.
- Assist with the coordination and continuous improvement of administrative and customer service processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall customer journey within Customer Care.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Educated to graduate level is desirable. Alternatively, a proven track record with a minimum of A-level standard (or equivalent), including Maths and English (grades A–C) would be acceptable.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of international supply chains would be advantageous.
- A genuine interest in administration of projects, customer service, and supporting business operations. Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or office-based role is beneficial but not essential.
- Demonstrates a can-do attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and develop within a structured and supportive working environment.
