We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Distribution Training who is passionate about building high-performing, compliant, and customer-centric sales teams. This role will lead the design and delivery of end-to-end training and development strategies across distribution channels, enabling sales leaders, agents, and relationship managers to drive sustainable business growth.
- Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the distribution training and development strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the distribution training team to deliver high-impact learning solutions.
- Design capability frameworks for agents, sales leaders, and frontline managers across Agency, Bancassurance, and other distribution channels.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify capability gaps and address them through targeted development interventions.
- Drive productivity, quality selling, and customer-centric behaviours through structured training initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding, licensing, certification, and continuous development programs for distribution teams.
- Design and deliver training programs covering insurance products, sales skills, leadership, customer experience, and ethics.
- Leverage digital tools and learning platforms to scale training through blended learning approaches (classroom, virtual, on-the-job, and digital).
- Align training plans with market dynamics and business priorities, ensuring timely support for new product launches and sales initiatives.
- Define and track training effectiveness metrics, including productivity, quality, persistency, and compliance.
- Analyze training impact and continuously enhance programs using data, insights, and feedback.
- Ensure all distribution training programs meet regulatory, licensing, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain training governance, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance and Risk teams to manage mandatory learning programs.
Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance distribution, sales training, or sales leadership.
Proven experience leading large-scale training programs across multiple distribution channels.
Strong understanding of insurance products, sales processes, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Training, Coaching, or Insurance are an advantage.
Strategic thinker with strong execution capability and a results-driven mindset.
Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
Data-driven with the ability to link learning initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
