Private Credit Investment Analyst/ Senior Analyst in Westminster

The Private Credit Investment Analyst/Senior Analyst will support the Large Cap Private Credit strategy for PGIM and external clients. You will work with a senior credit research member on the Large Cap Private Credit Team and collaborate with senior team members to perform fundamental investment analysis, define value within issuer capital structures and industry sectors, and communicate investment recommendations to Portfolio Managers and the Large Cap Private Capital Investment Committee. The fundamental credit investment research conducted by the Analyst is an integral component of the portfolio construction process and the ongoing monitoring of investments. This role involves regular interaction with the management of issuing companies, industry experts, and external counterparts including advisors, banks and private equity funds. Analysts benefit from collaboration with both Public and Private investment professionals within PGIM. Your role offers growing responsibility as your experience grows.

Responsibilities

Support the underwriting team with financial statement analysis, modeling, forecasting and sensitivity analysis

Present earnings on portfolio companies to provide investment insights

Industry data collection and trend analysis

Assess business and financial strategy of portfolio companies

Present investments to Portfolio Managers and Investment Committee members

Monitor market movements through daily interactions with portfolio managers, economists, and strategists

Qualifications

Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving skills and organisational skills

Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills

Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Financial modelling skills preferred

Enjoys being part of a team but can work independently

One year credit research experience preferred

CFA Preferred

Strong academic background. Minimum of 2:1 degree or equivalent

Minimum of 128 UCAS points or equivalent (from top 3 A levels, excluding General Studies)
