What you will do

  • We are seeking a Client Management professional with strong client service skills to serve as a Specialist supporting regional Client Managers for the EMEA region initially focusing on the UK and Switzerland region.
  • The Client Management Team has a broad mandate and works across asset classes, which include public and private fixed income, equities, real estate and alternatives.
  • A successful candidate will have the opportunity to build out their professional skill set, learn about the asset management industry, working closely with Client Managers as well as various investment and functional support teams, and be part of a collaborative international team with direct exposure servicing institutional investors.

What you can expect

  • Act as a support to Client Managers to provide a high quality service to our clients and their business partners including fund administrators, custodians and investment consultants throughout the client’s life-cycle.
  • Serve as a liaison to our stakeholders to providing responses to recurring and ad-hoc data requests from clients and their business partners, leveraging internal information systems and involving as needed various internal groups including Sales, Client Reporting, Compliance, Risk Management and Investment teams.
  • Partner with the Client Manager and internal groups to ensure the client and their business partner needs are met, for example in relation to the handling and processing of:
    • Portfolio compliance rule breaches and inquiries including the restricted issuer list updates.
    • Investment guidelines.
    • KYC and LEI renewals.
    • Coordination and preparation of client meetings.
    • Market and portfolio commentary requests.
    • Client questionnaires and database update requests.
  • Support the onboarding process of new mandates collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client’s intentions are reflected in documentation.
  • Maintain client requests in CRM systems to ensure that the Client Managers have a record of the requests and actions taken.
  • Work closely and pro-actively with Client Management teams to execute efficiently and effectively on client communication needs.
  • Support Client Managers in their dealings with the portfolio management and other investment professional teams (e.g. Portfolio Analytics, Risk Management).
  • Attend team meetings to develop an understanding of PGIM’s key investment strategies and product knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline simple tasks and enhance scalability within the business.
  • Ensure all information is organised securely and orderly to enable seamless access for relevant team members.

What you will bring

  • Relevant internship and/or early-career experience in client services, investor relations or a similar function.
  • BA/BS degree or higher.
  • Interest in and basic understanding of capital markets, which include Credit, equities, real estate and alternatives, and portfolio management techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to perform basic quantitative data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
  • Strong analytical and data skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral as well as written.
  • Team player with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Seek development and learning opportunities.
  • Aladdin and Salesforce experience beneficial but not required.
  • Strong critical thinking and logic skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and international cross-border environment.
  • Proactive and adaptable in client solution solving and self-starter attitude.

  • Annual Leave of 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay.
  • Retirement Savings Plan: Employees receive a company contribution of 10% basic annual salary and a maximum employer-matching contribution of 5% of basic annual salary.
