You will join an inclusive team that provides care to individuals with mental health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to support their recovery towards leading valued and fulfilled lives. Your daily tasks include ward rounds, analyzing behaviours, updating patient records, and providing overall care, including assistance with personal hygiene. This environment can be challenging at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours per day.
Where you will be working
Location: Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET. Thornford Park is a 130-bed independent hospital supporting individuals requiring medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services, including a PICU Mental Health Service. The service offers a seamless care pathway, supporting recovery and rehabilitation. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalised assessment and treatment for males with mental health and complex care needs, personality disorders, and both females and males in a PICU setting.
