Europe/Asia Portfolio Specialist – Global Wealth, London
We are seeking a Portfolio Specialist to support PGIM’s Global Wealth Group in driving sales of PGIM’s Fixed Income UCITS, Sub‑advisory and Alternatives platforms.
Responsibilities
- Act as central point of reference for PGIM Credit investment matters for sales force, clients, and prospects.
- Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s investment strategies and deliver high‑quality service, particularly for Fixed Income offerings.
- Partner and collaborate with distribution teams to service wholesale and institutional clients across the region.
- Deliver timely investment strategy updates and ensure prospects understand PGIM’s capabilities.
- Represent PGIM’s strategies at key conferences and travel with distribution teams as needed.
- Interact regularly with senior investment professionals and attend internal investment meetings for current strategy positioning.
- Partner with internal groups to ensure business development and client needs are met.
- Ensure clients and partners are informed, trained, and supported on PGIM’s managed products.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to create and refine product materials, presentations and thought‑leadership content.
- Provide guidance and training to members of the Institutional Client Group and Global Wealth on Fixed Income strategies.
Qualifications
- Significant buy‑side asset management experience in similar roles.
- Extensive Fixed Income experience and ability to communicate concepts succinctly.
- Strong presentation skills to drive client action and build relationships.
- Understanding of investment processes and ability to convey differentiators to clients and sales teams.
- Ability to grasp value‑added aspects of each strategy for a sophisticated client base.
- Team player with a collaborative style, trust‑based partnership mindset.
- Confidence and presence to work with senior executives.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a continuous learning mindset.
- Highly responsive, flexible and oriented toward meeting client needs.
- Strong data analysis skills for interpreting results clearly.
Additional Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance or equivalent.
- CFA certification.
- Proficiency in Italian and/or German strongly desirable.
