We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Services Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a well-established and growing facilities management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of building services systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial building installations.
- Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and other electrical infrastructure.
- Support the maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, and general building services equipment where required.
- Complete inspections, testing, and compliance checks in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
- Accurately record work completed using maintenance management systems and documentation.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Participate in an on-call rota where applicable.
Candidate Requirements
- Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification preferred.
- Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with electrical systems.
