The Role
As Shift Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of shift operations, leading a team of technicians while acting as the senior point of contact on site. You’ll ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently, and play a key role in incident management and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of Shift Technicians across a 24/7 operation
- Act as HV Authorised Person (AP) – carrying out and overseeing switching operations
- Ensure all critical systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, generators) are maintained and operational
- Take ownership of incidents, faults, and emergency situations, driving swift resolution
- Manage and approve permits, isolations, and safe systems of work
- Coordinate planned maintenance and ensure minimal impact to operations
- Provide detailed shift reports and handovers to stakeholders and management
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a critical data centre or mission-critical environment
- HV Authorised Person (AP) certification – essential
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience within engineering teams
- Excellent understanding of electrical infrastructure and building services
- Experience managing incidents in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
