Shift Engineer – Five-Star Residential Property\\n\\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Engineer to join the Engineering Team at a five-star deluxe residential property. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, and working in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Engineering Standards Manual, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating all plant, machinery, fixtures, fittings, and building fabric.\\n\\nYour role will be pivotal in ensuring exceptional resident comfort, operational efficiency, and cost-effective building performance within a luxury residential environment.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\nCompliance & Statutory Requirements\\n\\nEnsure all statutory inspections and requirements are met\\n\\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date certification within designated Building Logbooks\\n\\nOperations & Maintenance\\n\\nTake ownership of defect repairs and ensure the safe, efficient operation of all building plant and equipment\\n\\nMaintain and operate systems including boilers, pumps, chillers, air handling units, fans, electrical distribution, pipework, ductwork, and garage plant in line with established procedures\\n\\nCustomer Service Excellence\\n\\nDeliver a consistently high standard of service to residents and colleagues\\n\\nMaintain a professional, courteous, and solutions-focused approach at all times\\n\\nTask Management & Systems\\n\\nManage reactive helpdesk requests via BuildingLink, providing timely updates and closure feedback\\n\\nUse the CAFM system to receive, track, and complete tasks in line with specifications and service level agreements\\n\\nBMS Monitoring\\n\\nMonitor the Building Management System (BMS) for alarms, incorrect operation, setpoints, and scheduling\\n\\nRespond promptly to faults or abnormal system behaviour\\n\\nFeedback & Continuous Improvement\\n\\nProvide feedback to the Technical Services Manager on software platforms, maintenance activities, plant performance, Health & Safety, and energy efficiency initiatives\\n\\nEmergency Response & Fire Procedures\\n\\nCarry communication equipment and respond promptly to incidents, providing clear updates on repair status\\n\\nFollow fire alarm and emergency procedures, ensuring sprinkler systems and emergency generators are operational\\n\\nIsolate systems when instructed by the Duty Manager or London Fire Brigade\\n\\nIdeal Candidate\\n\\nExperience & Qualifications:\\n\\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role\\n\\nRelevant electrical or mechanical qualifications\\n\\nPrevious experience within an ultra-luxury or high-end residential environment (desirable)\\n\\nSkills & Attributes:\\n\\nExceptional attention to detail and quality standards\\n\\nStrong capability across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems\\n\\nExcellent communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset\\n\\nProactive, reliable, and professional approach to work\\n\\nSalary & Benefits\\n\\nShare of the Resident Gratuity Fund\\n\\nLife Insurance\\n\\n28 days’ annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), increasing to 33 days with service\\n\\nContinuous in-house training and development programmes\\n\\nRecognition initiatives and rewards for outstanding performance\\n\\nAdditional Benefits:\\n\\nSeason ticket loans\\n\\nLearning and development opportunities\\n\\nEnhanced pension contributions\\n\\nSocial events\\n\\nComplimentary uniform and personal dry-cleaning service
