Project Sales Director (Facilities Management Sector) £100,000 – £120,000 | London (Hybrid Option Available) We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Sales Director (Projects) to join our team on a permanent basis. As part of our ambitious growth strategy, you’ll play a key role in driving commercial success by building strong relationships with target clients and developing high-quality, commercially viable Facilities Management (FM) solutions. These efforts will be crucial to securing new business opportunities as we expand into the UK market from our strong European base. The role combines both proactive sales activities, including client relationship development and prospecting, with reactive opportunity management, such as responding to tenders and shaping the company’s value propositions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Relationship Development: Build and manage strong relationships with target clients based on our new business strategy. Solution Design: Support FM solution creation and tender responses with innovative, technology-led solutions. Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, capturing activities in the CRM system for transparent business development performance tracking. Client Engagement: Lead client meetings to showcase the capabilities of the company’s products and services, and negotiate new business deals. High Win Rate: Drive high success rates in bids and strategic partnerships to win new business opportunities. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs to create tailored value propositions. Tender Management: Manage the tender process from start to finish, ensuring timely responses and input from internal teams to maximise win rates. Thought Leadership: Collaborate with marketing to produce insightful FM industry content, boosting brand awareness. Networking & Partnerships: Represent the company at industry events, establishing strategic partnerships and promoting the brand. Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with internal stakeholders to design, bid, and deliver winning FM solutions. Client Retention: Lead renewal efforts for key clients, ensuring high retention rates of over 90%. Essential Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships. Strong experience in consultative selling and solution design. Analytical mindset, capable of turning market trends into growth opportunities. Expertise in negotiation and closing complex business agreements. Proficiency with CRM tools, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite. A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of accountability. Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events. In-depth knowledge of the FM sector, particularly IFM, is a distinct advantage.
