If you have experience carrying out maintenance plumbing and mechanical maintenance work in a commercial environment (offices, hospitals, etc.), and are looking for a site‑based role in Birmingham, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be working as part of an onsite maintenance team. This position follows a 4 days on – 4 days off schedule: 4 days on from 6 am to 5 pm, 4 days off, then 4 days on from 1 pm to 12 am, 4 days off.
Your duties will include:
- Working on various aspects of plumbing and mechanical building services plant, including water hygiene and plant inspections
- Plumbing and filter changes
- Other mechanical duties in support of the rest of the team
- Carrying out non‑specialist electrical and building fabric maintenance tasks
Ideally, you hold a formal qualification such as City & Guilds or an NVQ in either plumbing or mechanical engineering, and live within reasonable commuting distance of Birmingham city centre.
We offer a permanent position with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus overtime, and the opportunity to upskill and gain further qualifications in your trade.
