PRS are currently assisting a client of ours to recruit a Mechanical Shift Engineer for a large blue-chip organisation based in Liverpool Street. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a client-facing environment and takes pride in high standards.

The Role

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building services systems, with a strong focus on PPMs, reactive works and compliance.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on mechanical plant.
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding.
  • Working on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves, HVAC and associated systems.
  • Supporting statutory compliance and site documentation.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and specialist service providers.
  • Being client-facing, representing the service provider to a high standard.
  • Supporting shift handovers and team coordination.
