Exciting Opportunity – Join Our Elite Technical Team! Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We\’re seeking a skilled M&E Shift Technician to join our dynamic team at a prestigious Global Financial Hub Data Centre working a continental shift pattern (6am-6pm days and 6pm-6am nights).
Purpose of Your Role
As a key member of our 24/7 operations team, you\’ll maintain world-class critical infrastructure that powers global financial markets. You\’ll deliver against Customer Service Level Agreements while contributing to our award‑winning Managed Services function. Working closely with our Shift Manager, you\’ll maintain optimal environmental conditions across all critical building systems while performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency works on sophisticated equipment including UPS systems, Generators, HV systems, PDUs, and CRAC units.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precision PPMs on all mechanical and electrical plant to industry‑leading standards
- Utilize HV Authorised Person qualification to meet contract requirements
- Complete reactive tasks and drive continuous improvements across the facility
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and safety compliance through Risk Assessments
- Supervise contractor works and manage spare parts inventory
- Build strategic partnerships with team members and client representatives
- Ensure professional CBRE image and maintain secure, clean critical areas
- Provide flexible coverage and undertake lone working when required
- Stay current with business systems and support shift manager duties
Essential Requirements

- City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration Building Services
- HV Authorised Person qualification

Experience:
- Critical environment/data centre experience
- Knowledge of Generators, UPS, Chillers, HVAC, and Building Management Systems
