We are recruiting for a multi-skilled maintenance electrician to work on a large scale estate in the Manchester area providing building services maintenance. The role will involve other aspects of building maintenance including basic mechanical and compliance.
The role is a permanent position paying 40k basic, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week based on a rotating weekly shift pattern: 7am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm, with 1 in 6 weekends (paid at overtime) and 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
Maintenance Electrician Duties:- Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to Electrical systems
- Lighting and emergency lighting
- Controls and BMS
- Basic plumbing maintenance
- Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
- Fabric duties
- Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temperatures
- Small works installation
- Emergency repairs
- All ad-hoc maintenance tasks
- A qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
- 17th or 18th edition
- Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Willingness to complete fabric, plumbing and mechanical tasks
- Willing and ability to pass a DBS check
