We are recruiting for a fabric / maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance in the Grimsby area. The maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, plumbing, basic lighting checks, compliance checks, fabric maintenance, and room / building repairs. The role is a permanent position paying £34,000 basic.
Maintenance Handyperson Description:
- Provide general maintenance to the facilities including:
- Fabric maintenance - basic joinery, painting etc.
- Minor plumbing
- Completing compliance checks, emergency lighting, tap temperatures etc.
- Assisting engineers and other trades on site
- Room repairs
- Working on a mobile across the area
- Ad-hoc handyperson duties
Handyperson Requirements:
- To have maintenance and handyperson experience and good solid fabric skills
- Valid driving license

- Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience, some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
- It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a 'Can do' customer attitude at all times.
- Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks and have a sound basic plumbing knowledge.
- Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner.
