RECRUITING – EXPERIENCED TEMPORARY COVER KITCHEN ASSISTANTS BASED IN BROXBURN PAYING £13.00 PER HOUR – BASED ON WORKING 8 HOUR SHIFTS AS PER ROTA *** The Company:- Our client is a leading Facility Management and property maintenance company delivering integrated Building and Facilities Management Services, to a number of prestigious clients across the UK. The Person req:- Duties will include all aspects of kitchen porter duties. Post Washing – dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers. Maintaining Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure disposed of in the correct manner. Food Preparation – Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients. Stores – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients. Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order. Qualifications No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
