Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Type: Permanent

Basic: £38,000 - £41,000 (plus increase of £1,500 AP Ventilation, plus on call and OT)

Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week.

Location: Humberside

We are recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer based in the Humberside area covering the maintenance of a large scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance plus lead and supervisory duties.

The role is a permanent position paying £38,000 - £41,000. For candidates with Ventilation AP (or after training) the basic will rise by £1.5k. On call one in five (c £120 standby plus OT) and pool van available for on call times.

25 days holiday plus statutory.

Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:

  • Mechanical Plant room
  • Pumps and valves
  • Plumbing maintenance
  • Basic AHU/fan coil/ventilation upkeep
  • Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
  • Small works installation
  • Emergency repairs
  • All ad-hoc maintenance tasks
  • Supervise and oversee contractors on site - lead engineering
  • Work as Ventilation AP (training provided)

Requirements:

  • A qualified Mechanical Engineer
  • Experience of plant room, ventilation, AHU's, FCU's etc.
  • Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Lead and Supervisory experience
  • Willingness to complete Ventilation AP training (or previously trained)
  • Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
  • Willing and able to pass a DBS
