We are recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer based in the Humberside area covering the maintenance of a large scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance plus lead and supervisory duties.
The role is a permanent position paying up to £38,000 basic. For candidates with Ventilation AP (or after training) the basic will rise by £1.5k. On call one in five (c £120 standby plus OT) and pool van available for on call times. 25 days holiday plus statutory.
Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
- Mechanical Plant room
- Pumps and valves
- Plumbing maintenance
- Basic AHU/fan coil/ventilation upkeep
- Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
- Small works installation
- Emergency repairs
- All ad-hoc maintenance tasks
- Supervise and oversee contractors on site - lead engineering
- Work as Ventilation AP (training provided)
Requirements:
- A qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Experience of plant room, ventilation, AHU's, FCU's etc.
- Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Excellent client facing skills
- Lead and Supervisory experience
- Willingness to complete Ventilation AP training (or previously trained)
- Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
- Willing and able to pass a DBS
