Overview
PRS Recruitment Agency is currently seeking an experienced HIU Maintenance Engineer to work with one of our most prestigious clients in London. As a leading provider of recruitment solutions, we offer competitive rates of pay ranging between £23.00 and £25.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair of Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the Heat interface unit and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Commissioning of HIUs, meter replacement and testing
- Carrying out pipework repairs and basic electrical tasks within HIUs
- Working on low-pressure, low-temperature heating systems
- Interpret manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Helping out other maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts from suppliers if parts purchased
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring all work meets safety regulations and is delivered to the highest standard
Qualifications
- Hold a City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
- Preferably educated to Degree level
- Experience wiring and fixing, Boilers/Heating, HVAC, Steam, Air Handling, Cooling, Renewable Energy (e.g. Solar or Heat Pumps), or similar
- Full UK manual driving licence
