The predicted salary is between 72000 - 84000 £ per year.
To assist with the management of the Projects department, ensuring compliance and management systems are followed and compliance levels are maintained and improved. To design, manage and take responsibility for project work ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To lead and develop projects, both in-house and with specialist contractors, to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard possible.
- To work with other departments and line managers to ensure that the department's services are meeting the expectations and requirements of specific projects.
- To oversee projects to ensure that they are delivered to the highest standards and are completed on time.
- Manage the planning and execution of office moves within agreed time frames.
- Provide efficient reports on work progress as required.
- To liaise with statutory authorities to ensure legal compliance.
- Manage budgets, warranties and commercial agreements with suppliers and contractors.
- Tender and select appropriate and competent contractors/suppliers.

- Zero defects or snags at project completion.
- Projects completed to programme.
- Budget, cost control management.
- Effective handover.
- All H&S guidelines are followed with zero accidents or incidents.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
- Be an effective Team Leader.
- Have excellent time management skills.
- Experience working in a facilities environment with ambition to learn and develop.
- Experience working in M&E environment fully conversant with building services systems.
- Be fully up to date with building services compliance.
- Experience of running development and successful completion of projects at multiple levels.
- Have experience estimating and developing budgets.
- Experience in contract management.
- Be a good communicator.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Good at making decisions under pressure.
- Have experience working in a high-profile working environment.
- Experienced in lead design, managing consultants, sub-contractors, and in-house teams.
- MEWPS and PASMA preferable.
- Experience in tendering all projects.
- H&S training (IOSH as a minimum).
- Project/contract management or trade certification desirable.
- Smart and presentable with a good attitude.
- Ability to work alone and to see a job through to completion.
- Managing a project from design to completion.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Good working knowledge of CAD.
- Weekends and evenings are required as projects are often out of working hours; the project manager needs to be on site for progress and decision making.
