We are looking for an experienced Fire & Smoke Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the Home Counties. This is a mobile role working across a variety of commercial, residential, and healthcare sites, delivering high-quality inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of fire and smoke control systems.

Key Responsibilities- Inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of fire dampers and smoke dampers
- Testing and maintenance of AOV systems and smoke vent systems
- Fire curtain and fire shutter testing
- Panel maintenance and basic fault finding
- Carrying out compartmentation surveys
- Producing clear, accurate, and detailed compliance reports
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines
- Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Proven experience as a Fire & Smoke Engineer / Fire Damper Engineer
- Strong knowledge of fire damper and smoke control systems
- Experience with AOVs, smoke vents, fire curtains, and panels
- Ability to complete detailed reports and documentation
- Good understanding of fire safety compliance and standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Salary circa £45,000/£50,000 (depending on experience)
