We are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to work on a static commercial site in Farnborough. This is an ongoing temporary position with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive fabric works across the site, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Completing PPMs in line with the site schedule
- Carrying out reactive fabric maintenance tasks
- Basic carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, and general building repairs
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
- Liaising with site management and reporting completed works
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar maintenance role
- Experience working within commercial buildings
- Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness
