TEMPORARY HEAD CHEF – NURSERY SETTING
Location: Epsom area
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 08:00 – 15:15
Contract: ASAP – 31 October 2026
We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to join a nursery catering team on a temporary basis. The role involves providing nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day for approximately 50 nursery children, including:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Afternoon snack
- Tea
- Afternoon tea
You'll be supported by a team member who can assist with basic food preparation, allergen documentation, stock duties and kitchen porter (KP) duties.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS required
- Previous experience working in a nursery, school or similar catering environment would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of food safety and allergens
- Confident working independently and managing a kitchen
- All chefs must wear long-sleeve chef jackets and non-slip shoes
