Engineering Services Manager Β£65 – 75,000 Salary City of London Facilities Management – Financial Services Pension Scheme Healthcare Our customer are one of the largest FM & engineering services providers globally, working across sectors as varied as commercial real estate, airports, healthcare manufacturing and financial services. They currently seek an Engineering Services Manager to be based at one of their high profile Global Financial Services customers in the City of London. Working alongside and reporting into Account Director as well as Chief Engineer for EMEA, the role will involve managing day staff as well as a 24/7 team of multi-skilled shift engineers. Both a strong background in critical services engineering, as well as leadership skills to motivate the team and drive standards are required. Salary banding for this role is circa Β£65 – 75,000 as well as standard benefits including pension, healthcare and healthy budget for training courses and development. Candidates must be fully qualified in an engineering discipline (electrical / mechanical), ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least five years experience as a Technical or Engineering Services Manager. Preferably this experience will have been within a financial / corporate HQ or similar. Along with core qualifications, additional training such as HV / LV authorisation, 2391, IOSH / NEBOSH Managing Safely, etc would be preferable and some of the roles key responsibilities would include: o Ensure that all services are delivered inline with the key performance indicators as per contractual agreement o Internal & client audits are completed and are at the required levels both from and adequacy & effectiveness perspective o Ensure the building is fully compliant from an organisational perspective, applicable to both statutory and legislative compliance o Ensure compliance against the company policies & procedures for all HSEQ aspects o Actively report and non – compliance issues o Work with the Head of Critical Engineering ensure that all aspects of CEM are being delivered in accordance with the framework o Complete regular audits to ensure compliance to the CEM process o Report any non-compliances identified o Ensure all risks are reported both internally and externally when required β€’ Requires specialist knowledge of the FM industry high degree of initiative, creativity and wide scope for discretion β€’ Commercial and financial awareness in a client environment β€’ Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organisation β€’ Proactive and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues before they become problems This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-held and stable customer account, and for one of the largest Engineering & FM organisations on the planet.
