You’ll take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all engineering services, including HV/LV systems, UPS, BMS, and associated critical plant, while managing and developing a team of engineers and coordinating with specialist subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

β€’ Lead and support day staff and shift engineers across two key client sites.

β€’ Work closely with the Contract Manager, Technical Manager, and Engineering Supervisor.

β€’ Oversee PPM schedules, reactive maintenance, and fault escalation for critical systems.

β€’ Support project works, system upgrades, and shutdown activities as required.

β€’ Maintain excellent client relationships through clear communication and reliability.

Flexibility & Overtime

This position includes enhanced overtime pay for involvement in HV shutdowns, weekend interventions, and project-based activities.

A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to attend site at short notice is expected.

Candidate Profile

β€’ Proven experience in a critical environment (Data Centre or Financial Services essential).

β€’ Strong people management and leadership skills.

β€’ Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (Apprenticeship / ONC / BTEC or equivalent).

β€’ HV Authorised Person (or able to achieve quickly).

β€’ Excellent organisational, communication, and reporting skills.

β€’ Calm, methodical, and confident under pressure.

Package & Benefits

β€’ Β£77,000 – Β£79,000 per annum + paid overtime

β€’ Potential travel allowance between sites
