Our client is a well-established UK commercial building services organisation, with a requirement for an electrically biased shift engineer to work on a high profile commercial M&E maintenance contract. Working as part of a multi-skilled team covering planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and HVAC systems, the shift pattern is days only, 7am - 5pm, 5 on, 2 off, 3 on, 6 off.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Data Centre / Critical site engineering & property maintenance; however, our client is also keen to hear from electricians from a building services background that want to get into the data centre industry, and will provide training for the right candidate.
Good knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Plant such as LV/HV Switchboards, PDU’s, UPS, Chillers, AHU’s, Generators, Pumps & BMS. Ideally, you will have relevant HV/LV qualifications or the experience to become an AP. Must be able to work independently when required.
On offer is a permanent position paying up to £45,000 per annum including call out allowance. Guaranteed overtime each year, plus access to industry leading training and development.
