A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking an experienced and dependable Electrical Shift Engineer to join its dedicated team within a secure, business-critical banking environment in Central London. This is a highly responsible role ideal for a skilled engineer who thrives in compliance-driven, high-integrity environments.
Working as part of a shift team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all aspects of electrical PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring systems are safe, efficient, and compliant while maintaining 24/7 operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on LV systems, power distribution, lighting, control panels, and emergency systems.
Monitor and respond to BMS and life safety systems, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of faults.
Conduct routine testing, inspections, and fault diagnosis with detailed reporting.
Collaborate with contractors, site security, and FM colleagues to maintain service levels and security standards. xiskglj
Maintain accurate shift logs and documentation in line with internal procedures.Candidate Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Experience in critical or secure environments (banking, data centres, government, etc.)
